Roger Chambers

Mr. Roger Dale Chambers, age 78, and a lifelong resident of Scott County, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Grenada.

The longtime truck driver for Boutwell Butane Company served in the Mississippi Army National Guard and held affiliation with Hillsboro Baptist Church. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed his tenure as a cattleman, gardener, and fisherman. He will be remembered for his social skills as a people person and conversationalist.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Mrs. Regenia Sanders Chambers on January 15, 2021; one daughter-in-law: Kimberly Lea Stewart Chambers; his parents: Snowdie and Bessie Thomas Chambers; one brother: Donald Ray Chambers and one nephew: Donnie Chambers.

Survivors include his children: Robbin Lynn (Kevin Lee) Ryel of Mustang, OK and Roger Kevin Chambers of Forest; one niece: Tori Brown and two nephews: Tim Chambers and Peddy Chambers.
