Funeral services for Mrs. Roma Rhea Crawford will be conducted at 10:30 am on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 from the Ott & Lee Chapel with Bro. Richard Gasser officiating. Interment will follow in the Clifton Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the funeral home.

Roma Rhea Crawford was born in Scott County on June 7, 1926 and passed away at her home in the Clifton community on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the age of 90.

She was a lifetime resident of this area and will be remembered for her love for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Crocheting and quilting were favorite past times, as was fishing, gardening, and canning as long as her health permitted. She leaves a legacy of always being mindful of others and lending a helping hand to those in need, especially her neighbors.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Henry Crawford; her parents: Charlie & Mary Robinson Wallace; three sisters: Stella Powell, Doris Cooper, and Tense Brantley; and one brother: Theron Wallace.

Survivors include her son: Mike (Connie) Crawford of Forest; one sister: Sue (Jay) Savell of Brandon; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.


Pallbearers will be Brock Richards, Chris Tadlock, Keith Tadlock, Jamie Savell, Jeff Savell, and Joel Savell.


Honorary Pallbearers will be Bobby Porter, Dewayne Madison, Shawn Bryd, and Tony Pitts.
