Ronald A. Barr, 75, passed away Tues. May 29, 2018 at the Mississippi State Veteran’s Home in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Fri. June 1, 2018 from 1pm-2pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm on Fri. June 1, 2018 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Glenwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Richland, MS.

Mr. Barr was born in Meridian, MS to the late James and Grace Shirley Barr and has been a longtime resident of Rankin County, MS. He was a member of Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon, MS, the Local Union 831 and the Goldwing Riders Association of Mississippi. Mr. Barr served his country with the United States Army. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, going fishing and wood working.

Mr. Barr is survived by his wife, Faye Wallace Barr; son, Ronald Jeffery Barr (Karen); three step sons, Ralph A. “Tony” Harvey (Angela), Robert “Randy” Harvey (Rai) and Derrell Douglas Harvey (Michelle); sister, Diane Barr Smith; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and his loving white lab, Sophie. Mr. Barr was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Ruth Smith Barr; son, Brian Keith Barr and a step son, Gary Ray Harvey.
