Ronald G. (Ronnie) Garrett, 59, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at MS Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Visitation starts at 11am Saturday until the 1pm Service at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon.
Ronnie was a Christian and loved God and his family, he was not afraid of dying because he knew where he was going. He never met a stranger, had a kind and compassionate heart and a very generous nature. Ronnie had a great sense of humor and the courage to face his battle with cancer. He was a great spouse, dad and pawpaw.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Bounds Garrett; son, Michael Shane Garrett (Kathi) of Meridian; daughter, Shannon Garrett Melton (John) of Bartlett, TN; 2 sisters, Linda Harris and Donna Spence; brother, Darryl Garrett; 7 grandchildren, Caleb, Chris, Shanea, Matthew, Justin, Kayleigh and Alexa and 1 great grandchild.
