Ronald Patrick Hodges, 67, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sat. Nov. 23, 2013 in Fayette, MS. Visitation will be held Tues. Nov. 26, 2013 from 5:30pm-8:30pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am Wed. Nov. 27, 2013 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS.
Mr. Hodges was born in New Orleans, LA and has been a resident of Brandon since 1999 after moving from South Jackson. He was a member of the Brandon Baptist Church where he sang in the choir and was also a longtime member of Alta Woods Baptist Church in Jackson. Mr. Hodges was in the ROTC at the University of Southern Mississippi and also served his country in the U.S. Army. Mr. Hodges was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Hodges; two sons, Brad Hodges (Tracey) and David Hodges (Stacey); five grandchildren, Dylan Hodges, Skylar Hodges, Patrick Hodges, Keri Hodges and Olivia Williford; one sister, Carol Eiland; his niece, Michelle Gousset; his nephew, Jody Gousset and many, many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to the Brandon Baptist Church Building Fund at 100 Brandon Baptist Dr. Brandon, MS 39042.
