Ronnie Dakota “Cody” Lewis, 17, a student at Pearl High School, died Monday, July 19, 2010 in Pearl, MS. Visitation is Saturday, July 24, 2010 from 10 – 11 am at New Life Assembly of God, 300 Shiloh Road, Brandon, MS. Memorial Services are 11 am Saturday at New Life Assembly of God in Brandon, MS. with Rev. Dewain Miller Officiating.
Cody was born on February 17, 1993 in Jackson, MS. He was a lifelong resident of Pearl, MS and was a 10th grader at Pearl High School. He was enrolled in VO Tech at Hinds Community College.
Cody was a great person who loved to be around people and people loved to be around him. He was a practical joker and loved to make people laugh. He will be greatly missed.
Cody is survived by his mother, Patty Hale and husband, John Webb of Pelahatchie, MS; two sisters, Elexius Nicole McGee and husband, Michael Joel McGee of Pearl, MS, and Christie Shalon Hammes of Pelahatchie, MS; one brother, Michael Lewis and wife, Heather Miller of Pelahatchie, MS; his grandmother, Rebecca Janell Lyles of Pearl, MS; one nephew, Trighton Joseph Hammes of Pelahatchie, MS; two nieces, Khloey Grace Lewis and Riley Elizabeth Miller both of Pearl, MS; and one aunt, Angie Davis of Florence, MS.
