Visitation will begin at 9 am Monday, January 3, 2011 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11 am from the Chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.Roy Kennedy was born on June 28, 1922 in Iaeger, West Virginia to the late John and Bailey Kennedy. Roy served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He had been a resident of Rankin County, MS since 1958, having moved here from Zanesville, Ohio. He was a Jehovah’s Wittness. He was a machinist for General Electric Company in Jackson, MS for 12 years.He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Stella Ann McDaniel Kennedy; and a son, Douglas Kennedy.Survivors include his children, Raymond Kennedy of Florence, MS, Jan Kennedy of Florence, MS, and David Kennedy of Bailey, CO; and four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
