Mrs. Ruby Hannah Black, age 80, of the Wicker Mill community, died on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at her residence.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2012 from the chapel of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest with interment in the Luther Chapel Church Cemetery. Visitation was held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Rev. Paul Smith and Rev. Allen Blackburn officiated at the services.
Mrs. Black was born on July 22, 1931 in Smith County, Ms. to Orria Hannah and Rhemille Dollar Hannah. She was a member of the Magnolia Baptist Church and was lifelong resident of the Wicker Mill Community. Mrs. Black loved and served her Lord and her family all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Orria and Rhemille Hannah and a brother, Howard Hannah.
Mrs. Black is survived by her husband of 63 years, H.L. “Buster” Black, two sons, Scotty(Ruby) Black, Marty (Gigi) Black, brothers and sisters, Rena Wicker, Karry(Sam) Hannah, Gene( Betty) Hannah, Barbara Hannah, grandchildren, Elissa Bower, Jessica Flynt, Lacy Picarello, Margie Black and Kellie Black and one
great grandchild ,Hannah Flynt.
Funeral services were provided by Ott and Lee Funeral Home of Forest.
