Ruby Coker

Ruby Lee Coker, 89, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at her home. Visitation will be held from 12:00pm until 1:45pm Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest, MS with the service at 2:00pm in the chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home, Forest, MS. Interment will follow in the Harperville Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Bobby McKay, Dr. Jim Everett, and Rev. Kermit Sharp officiated the service. Mrs. Coker was born to the late Mr. Benjamin and Mrs. Mary Kennedy Shepard in Neshoba County on April 4, 1925. She married the late J. W. Coker and had lived in Forest for 60 years. She was a bus driver with the Scott County School District for many years. Mrs. Coker is survived by her daughters, Ann Turbville (Kenneth) of Florence, MS, Janet Driskell (Larry) of Forest, MS, and Debora Thomas of Harperville, MS; and 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Chad Driskell, Jason Driskell, Jeff Turbville, Keith Boteler, Jackson Driskell, John Driskell, Brad Occhipint, and Dylan Boteler Funeral services provided by Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Forest.
