Ruby Anne Craig was called home to be with Jesus on Friday, April 26, 2019. She was born June 17, 1947, and spent her life in Forkville, Mississippi.
Graveside services will be Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Matt Armstrong officiating under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
There will be no public visitation.
In 1994, she married the love of her life, Gerald Craig. She is survived by her husband; Gerald, two daughters, LaTresa B. Holmes and Genia B. (Tommy) Harrell; step-daughter, Jennifer (Thad) Greer; her grandchildren, Paxton Holmes and Dakota (Ronnie) Killingsworth; step-grandchildren, Tyler and Iley Baldwin and GT Greer; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Dallas Aycock and Rowyn Killingsworth.
Ruby Anne was a strong, patient, beautiful woman with a fierce love for the people in her life. She was the backbone of her family and raised her children and grandchildren with honor and grace. Her devotion to the people she cherished was unshakable. If Ruby Anne loved you, you never had to wonder if she was in your corner. She was completely authentic, tough as nails, and had the most incredible laugh. She was always up for adventure and spent many weekends at softball games and rodeos, supporting all her girls. She loved Coke and a cigarette, her dogs, reading, puzzles, playing cards, day trips with her husband, shopping with her daughters, and playing in the yard with her great-grandchildren. Most importantly, her love for Jesus was a shining light for all who knew her. The world is surely a darker place without her in it. As her family, we know she is walking with the Lord today and we are on tiptoes at the edge of eternity, longing for the day when we get to hear her laugh again.
Serving as pallbearers will be Eddie Champion, Clyde Brady Champion, Butch Gordon, Tommy Harrell, Ricky Thaggard, and George Nutt.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
