Ruby Greene

Glenda was born on October 22, 1942, in Smith County to Ambrose Harris and Ruby Wilmer Harris. She was married to Denard Greene for 40 years. Glenda was a talented cross-stitcher and had a mind as sharp as a tack. She loved to fish, shop and spend time with her grandchildren.

Glenda Greene passed away on December 21,2021 at the age of 79, surrounded by her loved ones. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she ever encountered.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Ambrose and Ruby Harris, her beloved husband, Denard Greene, two of her sons, Brent Doster and Tommy Wilkinson, three brothers, Dale Harris, Joel Harris, Tommy Wayne Harris, and her sister Dean Harris Lawrence.

Those left to cherish Glenda's memory include children, Deanna Abdullah (Tawfik) and Gary Wilkinson Sr. (Mary), her grandchildren, Daniel Tucker (Sarah), Lauran Wilkinson Lyle (Chris), Sumer Barakat, Tiffani  Wilkinson Copeland (Will), Gary Wilkinson Jr., Malik Barakat and Blake Wilkinson, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends whom she all adored.

Visitation was on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS, from 10am to 11am, Services followed at 11:00am in the chapel.

Interment will be at New Goodhope cemetery in Pulaski, MS.
