Ruby Nell White Rayner, 84, went home to her Lord on October 20, 2012 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. A graveside service will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, October 23, 2012 in Parkway Cemetery in Kosciusko. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Monday, October 22, 2012 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Richland.
Ruby was a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church in Florence. She worked for the Mississippi School for the Blind as a house mother.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, John H. White and Fred Rayner, and granddaughter, Heather Byrd.
She leaves behind a son, John White (Linda); daughters, Patricia Byrd (Joe), Sheila Wilson (David), and Susan Traylor (Kenny); grandchildren, Wendy Berry, Sandy Warren, Jennifer Bishop, Callie McClellan, and Cameron Rogers; great-grandchildren, Brianna, Jacob, Ashley, Maegan, Joe, Whitney, Hannah, and Marisa.
