Mrs. Ruby Nell Allen Richardson, age 75, a resident of Pelahatchie passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation was held 4pm-8pm Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from the Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral services were held 2:30pm Thursday, October 12, 2017 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Leesburg Church of Christ Cemetery. Bro. Dan Henry III officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Mrs. Richardson was born in Rankin County on October 4, 1942. She enjoyed sewing and making quilts. Ruby loved to cook and baking cakes. She loved her family very much and loved her grandchildren very much. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Levi Allen and Jessie Mae Bowman Allen; daughter, Lisa Mae Richardson Wiltcher; 2 brothers, John & Jimmy Allen.
She is survived by her husband, Juneau Lee Richardson of Pelahatchie; daughter, Sylvania Lynn Janell Wiltcher of Pelahatchie; 2 sisters, Rita Fay Richardson of Morton and Linda Sheppard of Brandon; 2 brothers, Gilbert Lee Allen of Carthage and Michael Allen Sr. of Morton; 3 grandchildren, Tyler, Mitchell and Amber Wiltcher; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were David Allen, Timothy Allen, Michael Allen, Peyton Allen, David Reid, Charles Wilkerson and Evan Allen.
