Ruby Lee Roberts

Ruby Lee Roberts, 95, went to be with the Lord on Wed. March 19, 2025, at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Sun. March 23, 2025 from 2pm-5pm and on Mon. March 24, 2025 from 10am-11am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am on Mon. March 24, 2025 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Hodge Hill Cemetery in Morton, MS.

Mrs. Roberts was born on June 6, 1929, in Scott County, MS to the late Vonview Richardson and SaPhronia Sumeral Richardson. She was a very sweet Christian lady who was a member of Pearson Baptist Church in Pearl, MS. Mrs. Roberts enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens. She was an inspiration to everyone she met and was also a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Roberts is survived by her daughter, Ruby Colyer (James); sons, Kenneth Bruce Roberts (Jan) and Randolph Randy Roberts (Debbie); 4 grandchildren, Larry Colyer, Jeff Colyer (Stephanie), Brian Roberts (Anna), Kim Scharl and 4 great grandchildren, Sydney Roberts, Cole Colyer, Nora Lee Roberts and Pipper Rose Roberts. Mrs. Roberts is also preceded in death by her husband, Ted Roberts; granddaughter, Christy Lee Roberts and a brother, Malcolm Richardson.
