Mrs. Rubye Stewart, age 70, a resident of Pulaski, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2019 in Pelahatchie.  Visitation will be held 6-8pm Monday, April, 22, 2019 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton and 10am-11:45am Tuesday at the funeral home.  A Memorial Service will be held 12pm Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton.  Bro. Scotty Cooper will officiate the service.   Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mrs. Stewart was born in Scott County on March 20, 1949.  She loved her family very much and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Henry Lee Finch; husband, James Edward Stewart; sons, James, Corey and Frank Stewart.

She is survived by her mother, Reba Watford Finch of Cooperville; children, Rebecca Griffin (Andy), LeAnne Stewart (Paul), and Betty Maxwell (AL) all of Pelahatchie; siblings, Rubye Jewel Allen, Mary Ann Easterling and Henry Finch all of Pelahatchie; 6 grandchildren, Brittany Adcox, Dakota Sullivan, Matthew Griffin, Destiny Gibbs, Frankie Maxwell and Destiny Wallace; and a host of friends.
