Ruby Nell Reeves, 89, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at St. Dominic/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be from 10 am until 12 Noon on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Graveside Services will follow at 12:30 pm Saturday at Lakeland Place Garden Park Cemetery in Brandon.
Ruby Nell Cockrell was born in Pulaski, Mississippi on December 25, 1925 to the late Jessie Eugene and Bertie Ann Puckett Cockrell. She was a homemaker and a member of Fannin Baptist Church in Fannin, MS. She was the widow of James Travis Reeves.
In her usual sense of humor, she wants her family and friends to know, “She’s Gone”.
Survivors include her children, Kaye Lanell Reeves of Brandon, MS; Travis Lamar Reeves and wife, Beth of Madison, MS, and James Eugene “Pickle” Reeves and wife, Becky of Brandon, MS; two grandchildren, Chelsea Reeves Carver and husband, Brandon of Pelham, AL and Blake Parker and wife, Terina of Brandon, MS; and one great granddaughter, Charis Christine Sekanic of Pelham, AL.
