Salvatore Joseph Burgio

Salvatore Joseph Burgio, 68, passed away Mon. Oct. 3, 2016 at University Of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation was held on Fri. Oct. 7, 2016 from 5pm-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with a 7pm memorial service following in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Scott Ross officiated the services.
Mr. Burgio was born in Brooklyn, NY and has been a resident of Pearl, MS since 1992. He was a member of Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. Mr. Burgio served his country as a Sergeant in the U. S. Marines Corps during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his son, Chris Burgio (Melissa) of Hernando, MS; sister, Roseanna D’Antonio (Joseph) of West Islip, NY; brother, Joseph Burgio (Patricia) of Calabash, NC and three grandchildren, Mikel Burgio, Riley Burgio and Maddox Burgio.
