VISITATION: 10-11 AM FRIDAY AT OTT AND LEE FUNERAL HOME IN BRANDON
Sammie Lee Varga, 87, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Lakeland Nursing and Rehab in Jackson. Visitation is 10-11 am Friday, April 30, 2010 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm Friday at McNair Cemetery in Mt. Olive. Rev. Jeff Holland will officiate.
Mrs. Varga was a native of Mt. Olive and a longtime resident of the Jackson area. She retired as a supervisor with the Internal Revenue Service after many years of service and was a member of Pinelake Baptist Church in Brandon.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Varga, Sr. of Brandon; daughter, Kay Swift and husband Dennis of St. Louis, MO; son, Michael Varga, Jr. of Brandon; grandchildren, Sara Hammock, Matthew Swift and Justin Varga; great grandchildren, Tyler Hammock, Katelyn Swift and Jacob Swift. Chris Varga, her grandson preceded her in death.
