Samuel Louis Magee, 87, a resident of Jackson, MS, passed away Mon. April 20, 2020 at the MS State Veterans Home in Jackson, MS. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS is handling arrangements.

Mr. Magee was born in Pike County, MS on Jan. 26, 1933 to the late James Monroe Magee and Eloise Ball Magee. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War.

He is survived by his son, Mitchell Magee (Teresa); two daughters, Katherine Tatum and Sharron Flowers (Russell); four grandchildren, Jarrett Flowers (Carrie), Dustin Magee (Meagan), Gavin Flowers and Lindsey Stubbs (Julian); three great grandchildren, Logan Flowers, Jack Magee and Leighton Magee; two sisters, Goldie Lewis and Margaret Coleman; sister in law, Ella Magee; brother in law, Charles Sandifer and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Magee is also preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Sandifer; brother, Jim Magee and two brothers in law, A. C. Lewis and Oliver Coleman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Foundation or the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
