Sandra Thomas Fendlason, 62, went to be with her son on Sat. Sept. 10, 2016 at the University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Tues. Sept. 13, 2016 from 5pm-8pm and on Wed. Sept. 14, 2016 from 10am-10:45am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am on Wed. Sept. 14, 2016 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Lakeland Place Garden Park Cemetery in Brandon, MS.
Mrs. Fendlason was born in Leak County, MS and has lived in Pearl, MS for over 50 years. She was Baptist in her faith. Mrs. Fendlason enjoyed fishing and riding on the boat. Her favorite past time was her family and her grandchildren. Mrs. Fendlason was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and inspiration to her friends who will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Dwayne Fendlason; son, Jacob Hutson (Theresa); step son, Tyler Fendlason; sister, Nellie White; two brothers, Buddy Thomas and Danny Thomas; five grandchildren, Landon Hickey, Maddy Rollins, Olivia Hutson, Chase Patrick, Taylor Hutson and two great grandchildren, Destinee Bates and Jaycee Bates. Mrs. Fendlason is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Fleta Thomas; son, Michael Hutson; great grandchild, Lili Beth Renee Bates; sisters, Helen Ham and Lucille Thomas and a brother, Rickey Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the UMMC Cancer Research Dept.
