Sandra Kay Blakeney Reichelt, 68, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at her home in Brandon, MS. Visitation was Friday, July 8, 2016 from 10 am until the 11 am Service from the Chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Burial followed at 1:30 pm in the Carr United Methodist Church Cemetery in Smith County, MS. Father Gerry Hurley Officiated.
Sandra was born in Bay Springs, MS on September 26, 1947 to the late Barney Clifton and Maggie Elizabeth Sorey Blakeney. She grew up in Smith County, MS and graduated from Raleigh High School and Jones Junior College in Ellisville, MS. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and was a homemaker. She had been a resident of Brandon for eight years, and a former resident of Hattiesburg, MS.
Survivors include her son, Paul Joseph Reichelt of Brandon, MS; her grandson, Tristan Paul Reichelt of Flowood, MS; three sisters, Ann Tolbert of Brandon, MS, Linda Mota of Richland, MS, and Tammy Foles of Pass Christian, MS; her brother, Jimmy Blakeney and wife, Brenda of Waynesboro, MS; and two aunts, Blanche Sorey of Forest, MS and Myrle Murray of Dallas, TX.
