Sarah Lyle Hutson

Sarah Lyle Hutson, Born March 2, 1941, in Meridian, MS, passed away in Murfreesboro, TN on Aug. 11, 2024, at 83 years old. Visitation will be held on Thurs. Aug. 15, 2024, from 9:30am-11am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am on Thurs. Aug. 15, 2024, at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Brandon Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS. 

She loved the Lord with all her heart. Serving the church and others selflessly all the days of her life. She attended Brandon Baptist with her husband Bob Hutson for over 40 years as a loyal member and servant of God. Her joy was her grandson, Nathan Valentine. She was able to spend a year with him in Tennessee before Jesus took her home. 

She is survived by her son David Valentine, daughter-in-law Jessie Valentine and her grandson Nathan Valentine. Stepsons Robert Hutson, Jeff Hutson and Brian Hutson. 

Sarah was preceded in death by her son Larry Valentine and her husband Bob Hutson. 

Sarah will be remembered for her unwavering Faith, love for the church and her generous heart. She was a warrior for Christ who fought bravely till the end and is now at peace with the Lord.
