Sarah Ruth Roncali peacefully entered into eternal rest June 28, 2023, in the comfort of her home in Newton, MS. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 1st from 9-11am followed by service in the Ott and Lee Chapel in Forest, MS. Graveside service and burial will be held at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Lawrence, MS.
Mrs. Roncali was born July 7, 1944 in Morton, MS to the late Taylor B. Allen and Rosa Mae “Moreland” Allen. She was a faithful member of Lawrence Baptist Church. She loved music, especially Conway Twitty and Neil McCoy, and loved gardening. Sarah could always be found outdoors- whether she was cutting grass or canning vegetables from her large garden, she was always working on something. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Frankie Eugene Roncali and was always by his side. In her free time, Sarah loved to do word puzzles and spend time with her family.
Mrs. Roncali is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, and two daughters, Sheila Diane Taylor and Sandra Jean Roncali. She is survived by two daughters, Jessica (David) Roncali Frosch and Jessica Ja’Shia (Jimmy) Roncali, both from Newton, MS. She has 6 grandchildren: Jerry (Melissa) Taylor, Robert (Jennifer) Taylor, Ashley Beavers, Sheila Kelly, Jennifer Taylor and Dewayne Kelly. Sarah also has 28 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, son-in-law, Jerry A Taylor and a large host of friends.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Roncali's service will be Jerry A. Taylor, Robert Taylor, Travis Taylor, Jimmy Johnson, Brayden Harrell, and Eiden Beavers, with Jerry E. Taylor serving as an Honorary Pallbearer.
