Seth Wayne Barker, 23, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away on August 30, 2016 in Brandon, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Bethel Baptist Church in Brandon, MS with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 pm until 7 pm Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS and from 10 am until 11 am Thursday at the church. Dr. Darby C. Combs will officiate the services. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.
Seth was born on June 8, 1993 in Hinds County, MS to Richard Wayne Barker and Cynthia A. McKey Barker. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. Seth was an avid video gamer. He will be remembered by his family as a kind and loving person. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Seth was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Wesley McKey, Jr. and Myrtis McKey and Marshall E. Barker and Eunice C. Barker.
Seth is survived by his parents, Richard Wayne and Cynthia A. Barker; sister, Nyssa Amanda (Marc) Gatlin; niece, Sophia Gatlin; several cousins and a host of friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Marc Gatlin, Adam Varner, Mike Webb, David Ainsworth, Casey Taylor and Richard Atkinson.
