Sherry Lynn Yeatman

Sherry Lynn Yeatman was born on 22 September 1948 in McNary, Arizona. The family moved back to Mississippi to be with extended family. After high school, Sherry worked several jobs but found her niche when she began working with the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol. They were her second family. She found the Love of her life when she married Bill Yeatman.

Sherry is preceded in death by her parents Russell and Edna Stuart Blakeney, nephew Johnathan Ray Stingley and stepdaughter Michelle Watson. She is survived by her husband, Bill Yeatman; four stepdaughters Polly Campbell of Monticello, MS; Patty Emfinger and Susan Taggert(Don) of Fountain, FL; Kathy Harrington(Ray) of Box Springs, GA; A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, niece-in-law Nicki Stingley; great step-niece Ashton Carter(Sid); great-great step niece Karlie Carter; great step-niece Anna Phillips(Gage Parker); and Sherry’s sister, Delores Stingley(Clyde) of Brandon, MS along with a nephew, Jeff Stingley(Keri) from Clinton, MS. 

Grateful appreciation is expressed to cousins, Shelia Sharplin, Sonia Miley, and Rev Donnie Stuart; doctors, nurses, and staff of the Baptist ICU unit for their compassionate spirit in caring for Sherry.
