Sherry Joann Thornton Sullivan, 66, a resident of Richland, MS passed away at her home on Sun. Oct. 23, 2022, Visitation will be held on Tues. Oct. 25, 2022 from 5pm-7pm and on Wed. Oct. 26, 2022 from 10am-10:45am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am on Wed. Oct. 26, 2022 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.

Mrs. Sullivan was born in San Antonio, TX on June 28, 1956 to the late Roles Edward Thornton and Winnie Purvis Thornton. She has been a resident of Richland, MS since 1982 and was a member of First Baptist Church Florence, MS.

Mrs. Sullivan is survived by her husband of 41 years, Jimmy Sullivan of Richland, MS; 3 children, Stacy Cook Wall (Brian) of Oxford, MS, Jamie Sullivan (Mandie) of Covington, LA and Karen Warren (Michael) of Madison, MS; sister, Donna Dyess (Joe) of Richland, MS; brother, John E. Thornton of Richland, MS; 8 grandchildren, Kelby Wall (Kaleigh), Taylor Sproles (Thomas), Addison Newell, Jacey Wall, Brendon Warren, Garrett Sullivan (Katherine), Connor Sullivan and Brent Warren; 1 great grandchild, Wyatt Wall and a nephew, Mark Thornton (Amanda). Mrs. Sullivan is also preceded in death by a sister, Rhonda Gunter and a brother, Tim Thornton.
