Shirley Donahoe Mann

Shirley Donahoe Mann, 72, of Madison, MS, passed away at St. Dominic’s Hospital on August 25th, 2023. Visitation will be held on Fri. Sept. 1, 2023, from 11am-1pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 1pm on Fri. Sept. 1, 2023 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Salem-Cato Cemetery in Rankin County, MS.

Born on October 9th, 1950, Shirley grew up moving all over the world with her dad being in the military. In high school, she settled in Jackson, MS, where she graduated from Central, then continued onto nursing school at Hinds. She worked as a dialysis nurse for over forty years, many of those years were spent with Fresenius Healthcare. She was able to enjoy several years of retirement before her death.

One of Shirley’s favorite places to live and her favorite memory was of the time she spent living in Montana, where she’d always wanted to return one day. Shirley touched many lives and loved on many people while on this earth, and her memory will live on.

She is survived by her mother, Vivian Donahoe, her brother, Dick Donahoe (Karen), her daughters, Tracy May (Doug), and Mandy Oliphant (Shawn), niece, Candee England (C.O.), nephew, Kirk Donahoe (Alexis), grandchildren, Grace May, Molly May, Caroline Oliphant, John Michael Oliphant, and great grandchild, Tucker Lowery. She is preceded in death by her father, Billy Donahoe.
