Shirley Maxine Robbins, age 78, a resident of Pelahatchie, MS passed away Monday, November 9, 2020 at Merit Health Rankin in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with interment following at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.
Mrs. Robbins was born March 6, 1942 in Rankin County, MS to Joe Dotson Massey and Steela Evon Trest. She was married to Jimmy H. Robbins. Mrs. Robbins will be remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed dancing and being with her family. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Mrs. Robbins was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy H. Robbins; parents, Joe Dotson Massey and Stella Evon Trest; daughter, Elizabeth Darlene Shoemaker; brother, Coy Massey and sister, Wardene Guy.
Mrs. Robbins is survived by her sons, Ricky Bob (Gail) Myers, Tony Myers and Kenneth Ray (Diane) Myers; sisters, Thelma (Bo) Keaton, Jean (Davis) Barnett and Joan (James “Buddy”) Harvey; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
