Shirley Sanders

Shirley Sanders, 74, passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon. Visitation is 5-8 pm Monday, April 8, 2019 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon and Tuesday 12:30 pm until 1:45 pm. Services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at the funeral home with burial in Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon. Dr. Keith Grubbs will officiate. Music will be provided by Judy Davis.

Shirley was a native of Madison County and a longtime resident of Rankin County. She was a member of Park Place Baptist Church in Pearl where she enjoyed singing in the choir and being in the Rickey Grissom Sunday School Class. Shirley loved her children very much and her four legged son Gizmo. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, George Sanders of Brandon; children, Shane Sanders of Brandon, Johnny Sanders (Judy) of Brandon, Tony Sanders (Sandy) of Pearl and Shelia Sanders of Crystal Springs; sister, Betty Bullock (Tommy) of Pearl; grandchildren, J. J. Sanders, Josh Sanders, Katie Sanders, Brandon Sanders, Cameron Sanders and Jennifer Sanders and two great- grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by a son, Robin Sanders.
