Shirley Schmidt

Shirley was born in  Milwaukee Wisconsin the daughter of German immigrants. She moved to Forest when was seventeen, and adopted by TG and Laura McCormick.  She lived with them until their death.  She was a loving member of their family and a sister to Tobby, Jim and Mildred.  Shirley was a devoted member of the Forest Baptist Church that she loved. She was very kind person who loved everyone she met.  Shirley was a wonderful cook and her dinner rolls were fabulous. Everyone wanted her recipe, but no one could make them like Shirley. She was a special aunt to Jim’s children Marshall, Brian and Melissa who spent their summers in Forest.

Shirley was a wonderful person who will be remembered for her kindness and a warm smile. May she Rest In Peace.

A memorial service is planned Friday, January 17th at eleven o’clock at Forest Baptist Church Chapel.
