Sophia Thomas Valkanoff, 94, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at Manhattan Nursing Home in Jackson, MS. There are no local services at this time.

Survivors include her children, Christine McGraw (John) of Haslett, MI, Dennis Valkanoff (Maryellen) of Hickory, NC, Denise Stein (Jack) of Pearl, MS and David Valkanoff (Cindy) of Austin TX; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
