He is preceded in death by his wife: Rose M. Benton and his parents: K. J. & Edna Alline Greer Benton.
Survivors include his four children: Tommy (Deniece) Benton, David (Suzette) Benton, and Anne (Randy) Cahoon, all of Forest; and Karen (Ernie) Francis of Bay St. Louis; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one brother: Tonia (Jean) Benton of Pearl; and the mother of his children: Mrs. Betty Benton of Forest.
Mr. Benton enjoyed the company of his friends and the staff at the Madden Lighthouse, and the family would like to express their appreciation for the care that he received during his stay there.
