Stanley Chambers

Mr. Stanley Chambers, age 89, and a lifelong resident of Scott County, passed away on February 19, 2019 under the care and supervision of the staff at Mississippi Care Center in Morton.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Holmes officiating. Private interment will follow in the Liberty Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest.

Visitation will begin Thursday one hour prior to the funeral service.

The committal service will conclude in the chapel at the request of the family. There will be no graveside service.

Mr. Chambers will be remembered as a self-employed painter who enjoyed gardening. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Pete and Birdie McDonald Chambers and one sister: Noveline Bunn.

Survivors include his wife: Mrs. Margurette Hines Chambers; two sisters: Mondell Williamson and Wyvonia Cook; one brother: Carl Chambers; twenty-three nieces, twenty-three nephews; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
