Stephen "Cajun" Jeansonne

Stephen “Cajun” Jeansonne, 67, a resident of Richland, MS died Sunday, January 17, 2016 at his home in Richland. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the New Life Baptist Church in Florence, MS. Rev. Scotty Smith will officiate the service. Ott and Lee Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Jeansonne was a native of New Orleans, LA. He was the son of Walsey Jeansonne and Nora Ward Jeansonne. He was a truck driver and worked for Yellow Freight for 32 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of New Life Baptist Church. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Mr. Jeansonne was preceded in death by his parents, Walsey Jeansonne and Nora Ward Jeansonne.
Mr. Jeansonne is survived by his daughter, Karen Ledet; grandson, Charles Ledet, Jr.; daughter two, Charlene Bright; sisters, Janet Graves and Deena (Joe) Fore; nieces, Gina Graves and Stacey Fore; nephews, Joey Graves and Michael Fore and a host of friends.
