Mr. Steve Deloy Jackson, age 54, a resident of Morton, died Friday, May 14, 2010 at Scott Regional Hospital. Visitation was held 5pm-9pm Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton and resumed at 8am-2pm on Monday at the funeral home. Funeral services were held 2pm Monday, May 17, 2010 at the Ott & Lee Chapel with burial in Prospect Cemetery. Bro. Robert Gatewood officiated the services.

Mr. Jackson was a lifelong resident of Scott County. He loved spending time outdoors, especially when it came to fishing, camping and hunting. One of his favorite things to do was to spoil his grandkids. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Burl Jackson and Lillian Savell Jackson and a granddaughter, Somer Elizabeth Jackson.

He is survived by his wife, Yolonda Renee Jackson of Morton; 4 children, Tony Ray Turnage (Melissa Martin) of Morton, Jessie Glen Jackson (Tammy Fox) of Biloxi, Harvey Jay Jackson of Pulaski, Alicia Kae Hodge (John) of Lake; 3 step children, Jonathan Thurman of Morton, Jennifer Thurman of Morton and Hanna Tolberson of Morton; ; 1 brother, Billy Frazier (Karen) of Morton and 14 grandchildren, Brandon Lee Jackson, August Leann Jackson, Nicolas Glen Jackson, Clarrisa Danelle Jackson, Steven Ray Turnage, Jacob McQua Turnage, Tiffany Nicole Turnage, Andrew J. Jackson, Corey Shane Jackson, Cameron Alexander Hodge, Landen Eddie Hodge, Christopher Lee Hodge, Tabitha Rachelle Hodge and Kasey Lynn Saterfiel.

Pallbearers were Jeffery Mahon, Don Gray, Robby Gray, James Chunn, D.J. Chunn, Chris Kyzar, James Coley and Billy John Coley.

Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
