Steven E. King, 58, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2015 with his family surrounding him.
Visitation will be Monday, January 5, 2015 from 5 until 7 pm and again Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 12 Noon at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Funeral Services are 1 pm Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from the Chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS.
Steven Elton King was born in Jackson, Mississippi on June 19, 1956 to the late Willis Elton and Bonnie Jean Davis King. He was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. He had worked for Bell South for 25 years.
He was a Godly man who loved his family very much. He was a member and a Deacon of Concord Baptist Church in Pelahatchie, MS. He loved the outdoors and loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Elaine Tullos King of Brandon; two daughters, Malisa Walters (Drew) of Terry, MS and Leslie Smith (Ryan) of Brandon, MS; a sister, Kristie Lambert (Terry) of Houston, TX, and a brother, Don King (Linda) of Pelahatchie, MS; and two grandchildren, Taylor Walters and Abigail Smith.
Memorials may be made to Concord Baptist Church, 555Concord Rd., Pelahatchie, MS 39145.
