Steven Richard “Steve” Procunier, 67, went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation is 10 am Monday, August 8, 2011 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Flowood, MS. Memorial Services are 11 am Monday at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Flowood, MS.
Steve was born on May 18, 1944 in North Bay Ontario, Canada to the late Cecil and Irene Bedford Procunier. He had been a U.S. Citizen for the past 10 years. He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Steve was a sports enthusiast. He had a true love of all sports and participated in curling, softball and was an avid golfer. He was a retired salesman.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Procunier of Flowood, MS; two sons, Sean Procunier and wife, Melanie of Toronto, Canada and Mark Procunier of London Ontario, Canada; a step son, Andrew Tolsdorf and wife, Bea of Jackson, MS; one sister, Joan Evans of Nanaimo British Columbia, Canada; and six grandchildren, Chelsea, Dillon, Kennadee, Magdalen, Dalton, and Caroline.
