Stump Bradshaw

Robert “Stump” Talmadge Bradshaw, age 71, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024.

A Celebration of Stump’s Life will be Monday, February 19, 2024, at 11:00am at Rock Bluff Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Stuart officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00am. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ivy Bradshaw, Justin Bradshaw, Chad Dixon, Chris Bradshaw, Luke Price, and Jason Bradshaw. The honorary pallbearer will be Brian Robbins. 

Stump was born in Jackson, MS on May 8, 1952, to the late William Howard Bradshaw and Jean Agnes Burnham Bradshaw. 

Stump retired as a Law Enforcement Officer dedicating his life to serving and protecting others. Stump retired in 2003 as a Law Enforcement Officer from RCSO and served as Chief of Police of Florence 1984-1985. He was an avid Ole Miss Rebel fan.

Stump is survived by his sister Janet (Luke) Price; brother William “Bill” Bradshaw; children Stacey Saucier, Brian (Nicole) Bradshaw, Megan (Buddy) Sullivan, and Tyler (Natalie) Bradshaw; grandchildren, Tanner, Clay, Harper, Hazel, Caleb, and Noah.

Stump is also survived by his caretakers and adopted family of many years Chad and Christie Dixon, Audrey and Brian Robbins, Courtney Robbins, Cameron Robbins Chambers, Hope Harrington, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Jeannie Bradshaw and brother Ronald Curtis Bradshaw. 

The family would like to thank The Bluffs in Vicksburg. The doctors at Merit Health River Region Emergency Room. And to all the doctors, nurses, and staff in the ICU at Merit Health River Region for their kindness, hard work, dedication, and going above and beyond caring for Stump.
