Glenda Sue Martin Nichols, 79, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS.  Visitation will be 2-5 PM Sunday, March 21, 2021, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.  Graveside services will be 10am Monday, March 22, 2021, at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.

Sue was born in Morton, MS, on November 25, 1941, to Walter Lester Martin and Bonnie Yates Martin.  She retired from the Pearl Police Department.

Survivors include her sons, Douglas Howard Nichols, Jr. (Lyne) and Darryl Wade Nichols (Lisa); daughter-in-law, Kelli Nichols; grandchildren, Trey Nichols (Lindsey), Shelby N. Moore (Daniel), Amber Helsel, Emily Lee (David) Wade Nichols and Karley Nichols; and 7 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Lester Martin and Bonnie Martin Cole; husband, Douglas Howard Nichols, Sr.; son, Nathaniel Martin Nichols; siblings, Clyde Martin, Leola Martin Shute, Ozel Martin, Louie Ray Martin; and a great grandchild, Chastin Nichols.
