Tammy Denton

Mrs. Tammy Denton, age 54, a resident of the Cooperville community, passed away at her home on Saturday, February 1, 2025.She was born on November 3, 1970 in Morton, Mississippi to Ronnie Hughes and Charlotte Davis.

Tammy is preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Hughes and sister, Angela Hope Hughes. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Shaun Denton, one and only son, Micheal Denton, three grandchildren; Elaylah Measells, Bralynn Denton and Leyton Denton; Mother, Charlotte Davis, Stepfather, Patrick Davis; sisters, Ronda Goolsby, husband Vance, and their children; Harliegh, Joseph, Remmi, Paysli Reign, Ella’Rae, and Koenn; sister, Joy Hughes and children, Rawson Hughes, Haden Hughes and his children, Calvin and Skyla Hughes, Mother-in-law, Dorothy Denton, brother-in-law, Tony Denton and wife, Lisa, their children, Chandler Denton and Carson Denton. 

 Visitation will be Wednesday, February, 5, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home, in Morton, MS, from 11:30 a.m. till 2:00 p.m., with the funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will be at Cooperville Baptist Church Cemetery.Reverend Arthur Davis officiating. Pallbearers will be; Vance Goolsby, Joseph Goolsby, Remmi Goolsby, Haden Hughes, Dawson Hughes and Laderrick Boyd.
