Tammy R. Young, 54, joined her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. She passed away at St. Dominic Hospital from a short Illness. A Celebration of Life will be at 2pm on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Pelahatchie, MS with visitation starting at 1pm at the church.
Tammy was born in Knoxville, TN to John Fred Harvey and Willie Jean Malone Harvey on October 17, 1957 and moved to Mississippi in 1986. She was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and worked for Dr. Lewis Guy, Orthodontist.
Survivors include her husband, Eddie Young of Pelahatchie; daughter, Olivia Young of Pelahatchie; son, Blake Sword of Knoxville, TN; step daughter, Kim Hunt and family of Statesboro, GA; sister, Jackie Morton and family of Atlanta, GA; brother, Frankie Smith and family of Kingston, TN; and a host of other family members that she dearly loved.
