Mr. Teddy Wilbor Smith Sr., age 52, a resident of Morton died Saturday, June 12, 2010 at his residence. Visitation was held Tuesday, June 15, 2010 from 10am – 12pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Graveside services were held 2pm Tuesday at Gulde Cemetery with Dr. Billy McKay officiating. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Smith was a native of Rankin County. He moved to Scott County 12 years ago and had since lived in the Forkville community. He was a painter and loved to do wood working. Teddy was proud to wear the name of grandpa and loved his five grandchildren very much. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Lois Smith and a daughter, Sharon Ann Smith.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Janice Faye Millings Smith of Morton; 3 children, Stacy Delozier (Correy) of Meadville, John Smith (Angelia) of Meadville and Teddy Smith Jr. (Tabitha Wilson) of Morton; brother, Robert Earl Smith; mother-in-law, Faye Millings of Pelahatchie; sister-in-law, Wanda Haven (Dewey) of Pelahatchie; 2 brothers-in-law, Shaun Millings and Teddy Ray Millings (Darlene) of Pelahatchie and 5 grandchildren, Trent and Alyssa Delozier, Ethan and Brock Smith and Brayden Wilson.
Pallbearers were Correy Delozier, John Millings, Matt Millings, Joey Reed, Jerry Quick and Preston Haven.
