Terri Lynn Smith, age 51, a resident of Forest, died Thursday February 13, 2014 in Forest following a brief illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Sunday February 16, 2014 from the chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest with interment in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5pm-8pm Saturday February 15, 2014 at the funeral home. Rev. Paul McDonald will officiate.Terri was born in Forest, MS on July 22, 1962 to her parents, William Tompkins and Celia Tompkins Jacobson. She was a member of Pine Crest Baptist Church in Florence. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and had a degree in computer technology.She was preceded in death by her father.Survivors include her husband Ben Smith, her mother Celia Jacobson, a sister Sherri Byrd (Richard) all of Forest; 2 sons Scotty Kuhn (Kristy) of Knox. IN and Mitch Kuhn (Brittany) of Forest, MS. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren.Pallbearers are Kelly Fisk, Sam Taylor, Calvin Byrd, Cody Tanner, Mark Holloway, Sam Evans and Johnny Babb.
