Terrie D. Evers, 53, passed away Thurs. April 28, 2011 at the River Oaks Hospital in Flowood, MS. Visitation will be held Mon. May 2, 2011 from 12pm.-2:30pm. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Graveside Services are 3pm. Mon. May 2, 2011 at the Fannin Methodist Cemetery in Fannin, MS.
Terrie was born in Northern Virginia, lived most of her life in Jackson, MS, and has been a resident of Flowood, MS for the past 10 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jackson, MS, where at one time she was also a lay facilitator of a support group. Terrie enjoyed painting and loved her cats very much. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Effie Evers.
Survivors include her three brothers, Andy Evers (Henri) of Byram, MS, James Evers of Richmond, VA, and Charles W. Evers (Lynn) of Madison, MS; two nieces, Amanda Yeatts (Trey), and Jessica Neese (Matt) both of Richmond, VA; four nephews, Brian Evers (Lisa) of Brandon, MS, Justin Evers (Ashley) of Flowood, MS, Jackson Evers of Madison, MS, and Taylor Sanders of Madison, MS; three great nieces and four great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CARA 960 N. Flag Chapel Rd. Jackson, MS 39209.
