Terry Kilgore

Terry Kilgore, 79, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away Monday, August 13, 2018 at Saint Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with interment in Brandon Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 12-2 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Kilgore was born and raised in Panola County, MS. He is the son of Frank Kilgore and Beanice Hubbard Kilgore. He was married to Janell Pearson Kilgore. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Wahabi Shrine. Mr. Kilgore was a truck driver for many years and enjoyed meeting people everywhere he went. His family will remember him as a hard worker and one who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed bird and squirrel watching at his home. He loved being with friends at the Pearl Café. He loved his children and grandchildren very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Kilgore was preceded in death by his wife, Janell Pearson Kilgore and his father, Frank Kilgore.

Mr. Kilgore is survived by his daughters, Anita (Barry) Vanderford and Lisa (Jon) McCartney; grandchildren, Paige Robinson, Spencer Robinson and Seth McCartney; mother, Beanice Hubbard Kilgore; sisters, Betty Shearer and Jimmie (Bill) Cole; brothers, Bo (Carolyn) Kilgore, Rance (Ginny) Kilgore and Don (Gina) Kilgore; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

The family wishes to thank Wisteria Gardens for the care shown to our father over the years.
