Mrs. Thea Gail O’Halloran, 57, a resident of Morton died Monday, May 25, 2015 at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Graveside services were held at 12:15 pm Saturday at the Morton Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Morton with burial following. Visitation was held from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS. Bro. Don Cannon officiated the service.
Mrs. O’Halloran was a native of Orange County Texas. She was the daughter of James Rogers and Shirley “McLemore” Holmes of Morton. Mrs. O’Halloran worked as a waitress at the Waffle House Restaurant and she loved to paint, garden, and be outside and she loved animals. She was a member of the Church of the King in Morton, MS.
She is preceded in death by her father, James Rogers and brother, Mark Rogers.
Thea Gail O’Halloran is survived by her daughter, Dana Sweeney of Morton; mother, Shirley Holmes of Morton; sister, LaDena Headley (David) of Lufkin, Texas; niece, Melissa Johnson of Lufkin, Texas; grandchildren, Brandon Sweeney, Caitlyn Sweeney, Josh Walker, Tara Townsend; and great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Sweeney, Haygen Sweeney, Gaitlin Townsend and a host of friends.
Serving and honoring Mrs. O’Halloran as pallbearers were Bobby Jenkins, Norman Jenkins, Landrum Fairchild, Tommy Aitkens, Frank Miller, and Brian Parkman.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS.
