Mary Theo Rhodes McLemore, 83, a resident of Morton died Thursday at MS Care Center in Morton. Funeral services were held 2 pm Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton with burial in the Pulaski Independent Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation was held 4-9 pm Saturday and 12-2 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Rev. Gary Wyatt and Rev. Mickey Walls officiated the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McLemore was a native of Rankin Co. She was the daughter of Winfry D. and Etta Hodge Rhodes. She was married to Lewis Cornelius “L.C.” McLemore. She worked many years at Sara Lee Bakery. Mrs. McLemore was a member of the North Morton Baptist Church. She loved her family and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Mrs. McLemore was preceded in death by her parents, Winfry D. and Etta Hodge Rhodes, husband, L.C. McLemore, son, Joe W. McLemore and granddaughter, Amanda McLemore.
Mrs. McLemore is survived by her children, Lewis C. (Sandra) McLemore, III, Darrel (Kim) McLemore and Anthony (Billie Jean) McLemore; sisters, Frances (Eddie) Cook, Jean (Bobby) Miller and Pat Brandau and her husband Roush Adams; 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousin and a host of friends.
Serving as pallbearers were Scott Thomas, Richard Gregory, Leland Birchfield, Doug Sanders, Brian Massey and John Paul Wallace.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Charles Walker and Howard Palmer.
