Thomas A. Diaz, 20, passed away Mon. Nov. 8, 2010 in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be held Fri. Nov. 12, 2010 from 5pm.-8pm. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Funeral Services are 10am. Sat. Nov. 13, 2010 at the funeral home with interment to follow in the New Brandon Cemetery.
Thomas was born in Jackson and has lived all of his life in Brandon where he attended Crossgates Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing racket ball and hunting, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his friends. Thomas was a carefree person with a big heart who made everyone smile. He is preceded in death by his uncle, Jorge Carlos Diaz.
He is survived by his mother, Sherry Weidick (Paul) of Brandon; his father, Michael Diaz Sr. (Janet) of Madison; maternal grandmother, Mamie Joyce Ray of Ridgeland; paternal grandparents, John and Thelma Josefine Bell of Madison; sister, Nikki Shue (Billy) of Brandon; brother, Michael Diaz Jr. (Andy Yvonne) of MI; step-sister, Carrie Chadic of Pearl; four nieces, Haley Shue of Brandon and Kaylee Diaz of MI and Harmony and Sabrina Shagene of MI; two nephews, Hayden Shue of Brandon and Brandon Diaz of MI; aunt, Lynn Evans (Terry) of Ridgeland; uncle, Nickey Ray (Kim) of Gluckstat; his best friends, Corbin Williamson (Melissa) of Brandon, Anthony and Andrew Baxter both of Brandon, and a special thanks to Kirby, Robert, Joel, and Janice Converse of Ridgeland for all of their support. He is also survived by multiple extended relatives.
