Thomas Griner

Thomas Larry Griner, 63, passed away Fri. May 9, 2014 at the St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation was held on Sun. May 11, 2014 from 3pm-5pm and Mon. May 12, 2014 from 1:30pm-2:15pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services were 2:30pm on Mon. May 12, 2014 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with Dr. Chip Henderson officiating the services.

Mr. Griner was born in Ocilla, GA and has been a resident of the Jackson Metro Area since 1982. He was Baptist in his faith. Mr. Griner was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan and a hunter where he was a member of the Cole Creek Hunting Club in Kosciusko, MS. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing and watching Andy Griffith.

Mr. Griner is survived by his wife, Diane Griner; mother, Ludean Griner; three children, Sherry Griner, Brittany Griner and Thomas Wayne Griner; three sisters, Debbie Jeswald, Denise Jonesgaard and Cathy Green; four grandchildren, Bryan Clay, Ricky Ladner, Destiny Ladner and Katelyn Griner and four great grandchildren, Dameion Clay, Hayden Clay, Elijah Duran and Isah Duran. Mr. Griner is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Harold Griner.
