Thomas William “Tom” Hydrick, 92, a resident of Forest died Wednesday,
September 04, 2013 at the MS Care Center of Morton after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Forest Baptist
Church with 3 pm burial in the Old Crystal Springs Cemetery in Crystal Springs,
MS. Visitation will begin at 10 am until the service time on Saturday at the church.
Dr. Gordon Sansing will officiate the service. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest
will be in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hydrick was a native of Copiah Co. He was the son of Jay
Dee and Rochelle Hydrick. Mr. Hydrick was the owner/operator of Tom Hydrick
Motors in Forest for many years. Tom was a member of the Forest Baptist Church,
was a US Army Veteran of WWII and had lived in this area over 53 years. He
loved his family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his
life. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Mr. Hydrick was preceded in death by his parents, Jay Dee
and Rochelle Hydrick.
Mr. Hydrick is survived by his wife of many years, Doris
Parker Hydrick of Forest; daughters, Peggy Harvey and her husband Jim of
Bartlett, TN and Tommie Hydrick of Birmingham, AL; sons, Mike Hydrick and his
wife Diane of Pearl, TX and Mark Hydrick and his wife Jan of Albany, CA;
sister, Lavonne Chamberly of Jackson, MS; 7 grandchildren; 4 great
grandchildren and a host of friends.
